Meet Gootie, my only daughter!

This is Gootie.  She is twelve years old and she is my only daughter.  She thinks that she is going on thirty.  She watches the movie 13 Going on 30, where Jennifer Garner starts out as a 13 year old and gets some sort of fairy dust sprinkled on her and turns into a 30 year old magazine contributor in NYC.  Gootie she wishes with all her heart that the same situation would happen to her.  When she isn’t daydreaming about being a thirty something hipster, she is busy imitating the only slightly more age appropriate Hannah Montana.  Gootie is the sassiest little girl I know and she is growing up way too fast right before my eyes.

Gootie is my only daughter and unless there is a miracle she will be the only daughter.  I have three sons and I love them to death but I was really hoping to give Gootie a sister.  I may try once more for another baby, but I really think I have perfected the art of making little boys!  So,  Gootie and I get to be the only girls around here.  I think it is a title that she loves to rock:  Mommy and Daddy’s ONLY daughter.
