Madre Gear now carries Milk Bands

We are always on the hunt for great products that will make a mom’s life easier.  So, Madre Gear has recently added Milk Bands to the brands we carry in our store.  Milk Bands are nursing bracelets that help you keep track of baby’s feedings.  They are silicone bands with two sliders that keep track of things.  Milks Bands are divided into two columns that house the sliders, which keep track of the length of baby’s feeding session.  Instead of swapping them from wrist to wrist you simply flip the band inside out.  If you are right handed you would wear the band on your left wrist and if you are left handed you would wear it on your right wrist.  If you flip it on one side it says “RIGHT” on and the other side is says “LEFT” to help you remember which side to feed from next.

Some Uses and Features of Milk Bands

  • Record single feeding sessions to the nearest 5 minute increment
  • Record multiple feeding sessions over a full day period
  • Record the number of times the baby fed in one day
  • Record the number of diapers a baby soiled during the day
  • Reminding the mother what time the baby last fed
  • Reminding the mother roughly what time the baby is due for another feeding
  • Helping the mother to wean her baby by tracking the number of nursing sessions and then eliminating them one at a time

If you are not one for keeping track in nursing journals and want an easy and simple way to keep track of baby’s feedings then this is a great product for you.  Milk Bands come in five great colors to choose from.  To learn more about Milk Bands visit Madre Gear or visit the Milk Bands website.
